Eyelid Surgery

The state-of-the-art version of this procedure utilizes a CO2 laser, rather than a scalpel. This improves accuracy while decreasing healing time and noticeability of scarring.

Chin & Cheek Augmentation

Using a durable, safe Dermal Filler, we can restore a younger version of your facial features and enhance your cheekbones. This procedure can be particularly helpful if your face has developed a hollow look due to aging or weight loss. It can also serve to create more prominence in your chin or cheeks.

Laser Skin Resurfacing

This treatment utilizes thousands of tiny laser beams which penetrate deep into your skin to remove wrinkles, blemishes, and sun spots. It can also address weak collagen/elastin fibers as well as stimulate your skin’s natural healing process.

Because of this stimulation, your skin will then replace the skin in the laser treated areas with fresh, unblemished skin and new collagen/elastin fibers which provide better skin support. You can expect fresher, tighter skin, and fewer wrinkles as a result.

The latest version of this treatment, the Fraxel “Re: pair” Laser, allows the skin to heal much faster than previous versions did, creating better results in less time.

Skin Tightening

The latest non-invasive skin tightening treatments involve no downtime and have delivered proven results worldwide. They simultaneously deliver both Optical Energies and Bipolar Radio Frequency (RF) to treat the skin and heat connective tissue fibers.

Your skin then replaces these now-weakened collagen fibers with new, stronger ones. The result is better-supported skin, which is tighter and firmer. This treatment works safely in all areas of the body.

Microdermabrasion

This treatment creates smoother, fresher, more radiant skin by eliminating the top layer of dead cells while stimulating the creation of new cells in the underlying skin layers.

Microdermabrasion provides a very safe non-invasive way to enhance the appearance of your skin without the downtime associated with deeper skin resurfacing.

Dermabrasion is the physical removal of your skin’s outer layer of dead cells. It is fast and doesn’t produce any bleeding. These factors combine to make it a convenient, non-invasive way to make your skin look younger and more appealing.

Glycolic Acid Skin Rejuvenation Treatment

This procedure utilizes a natural fruit acid to eat away dead skin cells while cleansing pores and stimulating the production of collagen in the process. It is a versatile treatment that works well with every type of skin and can benefit everyone.

Chemical Peels

With this rejuvenating procedure, we apply a chemical formula to your skin to trigger peeling in its upper layers. This can help remove freckles, sun spots, brown blotches, and even surface wrinkles. Your skin will then replace the removed skin layers with new ones that are fresher and younger looking.

There are four different classes of chemical peels: deep, medium, superficial, and ultra-superficial. The ideal class for your treatment will depend on the depth to which you would like your skin to peel.

Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers are an injection used to combat lines in the face. They work differently from injections like Botox or Xeomin. Those treatments go into the skin where they react with and affect the facial muscles. By contrast, dermal fillers go beneath the skin and fill out lines from below. This creates a plumper skin that restores the lost tissue that makes wrinkling develop over time.

Anti-Wrinkle Injections

These injections span a variety of treatments, such as Botox, Xeomin, and Dysport. Each of them consists of a type of neurotoxin injected into the skin. The toxin interacts with facial contraction muscles, relaxing them, and diminishing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles in the process.

Which facial lines can you treat with muscle relaxant injections?

  • Lines beneath your eyes
  • Surprise Lines - horizontal lines across your forehead
  • Frown lines - vertical lines or furrows between your eyebrows
  • Bunny Crunches - lines on your upper nose
  • Crow’s feet - lines at the sides of your eyes

Relaxing the underlying muscles responsible for each of these types of lines can greatly reduce their appearance or make them disappear entirely. How effective the injection treatment is will depend on how deep the lines were before the treatment.

Even if your lines don’t disappear completely, you can experience the benefit of reducing their severity both now and in the future, by preventing them from becoming deeper due to continued contractions.

These injections do not cause any numbness of the skin. They only affect the contraction ability of the muscles that control facial expressions in the targeted areas.

Injection treatments can also address:

  • Canine smile - a snarling look when you smile
  • Downturned corners of your mouth
  • Vertical neck bands - surface lines on the neck
  • Hyperhidrosis - excessive perspiration on hands, feet, groin, or underarms
  • Flared nostrils
  • Gummy smile - excessive gums show when you smile

One benefit of injection treatments is that they slowly become more effective and durable over time. Initially, most people require a new maintenance injection every 3-4 months. However, after a while, some people can get injections only every 6-12 months while achieving the same results.

What Are the Differences Between Botox & Xeomin?

Xeomin and Botox are both injectable neurotoxins (types of botulinum toxin type A) that the FDA has approved for use in minimizing fine lines and wrinkles. People often think of Botox and Xeomin as equals. However, there are significant differences between the two.

One of the key differences lies in the onset of results. While the results from each treatment last between 3-6 months, Xeomin takes about four days for complete results to develop, with Botox requiring only 72 hours by comparison.

Another notable difference is in the complexity of the formula. Xeomin is a “pure” neurotoxin, whereas Botox contains some additional protective proteins. The benefit of Xeomin’s pure formula is that it has a lower chance of your body developing a natural resistance to it over time. If your body develops this resistance, it can occasionally limit the desired effects of Botox.

What Are the Similarities Between Botox & Xeomin?

Both are effective in treating wrinkles and expression lines that form due to repeated muscle contractions. They enter the muscle tissue of the face, where they inhibit nerve impulses needed for contraction. This reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles in the treatment area.

The results of both treatments are temporary. After a while (usually 3-6 months), they wear off, and you will need a new maintenance injection to preserve the results long-term.

Both Botox & Xeomin require similar dosages of 20 units each, which are also of equal strength.

How Should I Choose Between Botox & Xeomin?

The decision of which injection to use to treat your fine lines and wrinkles is best left to an experienced professional injector. We would be happy to analyze your facial features and overall condition to help you decide which type of treatment would be the ideal fit for your needs.

How Does Dysport Compare to Botox & Xeomin?

Dysport, like Botox and Xeomin, is a neurotoxin formula. It compares most directly to Botox in that it also contains protective protein additives. Dysport requires 40 units of injection to achieve its desired effect, whereas both Botox and Xeomin require only 20 to achieve theirs. The doses and injections of each product are different, and you should not use them interchangeably. Deciding which product that is best for you is best left to experienced medical professionals, so we would be happy to help with any questions you may have about any of these injections.
